Testissä tarkastellaan, miten pennut tottuvat uuteen tilanteeseen ja
vieraaseen ihmiseen sekä mitä ne pystyvät oppimaan testitilanteissa.
Testin avulla voidaan arvioida mm. millaiset asiat tai millainen
toiminta on koiralle palkitsevaa.

Testi toteutettiin pennuille vieraassa tilassa. Molemmat veljekset
tutustuivat tilaan käymällä ensin testaajan lähellä ja sen jälkeen
vetäytymällä sivummalle katselemaan. Tämän jälkeinen alueen
kattavasti tutkiminen ja testaajaan tutustuminen etenivät sujuvasti.
Toisella testikierroksella molemmat pennut tervehtivät aluksi testaajaa
ja tutkivat sen jälkeen ympäristöä sekä pystyivät oppimaan tilaan
yksin jäämisen.

Veljekset ovat tottuneet ihmisen käsiteltävänä olemiseen erinomaisen
hyvin. Lisäksi ne leikkivät vieraan kanssa avoimesti, eivätkä
herkistyneet kosketukselle kiihtyessäänkään. Käyttäytymisenä
etsiminen oli taitovahvuus, joka nopeutti vieraaseen tilanteeseen
tottumista ja lisäksi herätti pentujen kiinnostuksen vieraan kanssa
toimimiseen.

Testin perusteella näyttää, että näillä veljeksillä on
erinomaiset edellytykset aktiiviseen arkeen ja harrastamiseen. Toivon
kaikille terveyttä ja monia vauhdikkaita vuosia!

Kennel O’zone, B2-litter, age 45 days (born August 21st, 2025)

The test examines how the puppies adapt to a new situation and a
stranger, as well as what they are able to learn during the testing
situations. The test can help assess, for example, what kinds of
activities these puppies find rewarding.

The test was carried out in an unfamiliar space for the puppies. Both
brothers first approached the tester and then withdrew to the side to
observe. After this, they proceeded to explore the area thoroughly and
participated to all exercises. During the second test round, both
puppies greeted the tester first, then explored the environment, and
were even able to learn separation from human in this new space.

The brothers are exceptionally well habituated to being handled by
people. In addition, they played fluently with the stranger and
weren’t sensitized to touch even when being aroused from playing.
Searching behavior was a strength as a skill, which helped puppies to
habituate more quickly to the unfamiliar situation and also sparked
their interest in interacting with the stranger.

Based on the test, these brothers have excellent background for an
active daily life and hobbies. I wish them good health and many eventful
years ahead!
